Heidelberg university this term has a lecture series on various aspects of magic. And the press release claims that it was Harry Potter which once again caused some public interest in magic.

There is a Washington report by Nicholas Trost: Harry Potter Goes to College. No real surprises there: using HP to teach probably is a rather universal approach by now. What still seems to be lacking is a conference (minimum: 200 speakers) plus at minimum 3 volumes of conference proceedings on such teaching. But perhaps I have just missed something ( Read more... )
